About Sensory Yum
My priority is to guide individuals on a transformative journey of self-discovery and empowerment by engaging the senses. Through immersive coaching experiences, I support clients in reconnecting with their inner wisdom, embracing personal growth, and creating lasting positive change in their lives.
Mission
Sensory Yum’s mission is to provide financially accessible individual and group coaching that enables marginalized communities to create power out of their pain. I support my clients in finding personal transformation through connection with the body, the senses and clients’ core values.
Vision
The vision of Sensory Yum is that all people have access to what makes their body feel delighted and can find safety through understanding and supporting positive sensory experiences. I dream that all people have a space that is safe for their senses, and from that place, are able to identify and act from their core values and purpose.
Who I Work With
Sensory Yum is for everyone! Because of my own lived experience, I especially love to support queer, trans, chronically ill, disabled, neurodivergent humans and those with chronic pain and chronic trauma.
Like many people living with chronic health conditions, I also carry chronic trauma. Much of that trauma, rooted in my childhood, left me disconnected — pulled out of my body and out of my own direct experience of life.
It took years of intentional work, through yoga, therapy, and deep self-exploration, to begin reclaiming my body as a place of safety and presence.
Along the way, I found myself naturally drawn to supporting others. For years, I coached informally — showing up, listening deeply, and walking alongside people as they navigated their own healing and transformation. I’ve always felt a profound pull toward real connection — the kind that happens face-to-face, heart-to-heart, body-to-body.
Eventually, I realized: this is the work I want to do intentionally, every day. I want to meet people exactly where they are and help them reconnect with their own bodies, in ways that feel empowering, safe, and alive.
Now, as a certified Mind-Body Coach through The Embody Lab, I bring this energy into Sensory Yum — a practice grounded in both compassion and playfulness, deeply attuned to each person’s needs. When I work with someone, I’m all in. I bring the same level of presence and care that I would want for myself on my own healing journey.
Sensory Yum exists to create space for transformation, for aliveness, and for full-sensory living. It’s an invitation to come home to your body — gently, joyfully, and in your own time.
